There was a time when I was prominent on the Internet, at a different URL. My old yet useful items (musical notation fonts, digitized voice parameters) are still available thanks to other web sites, and the transitory items have been allowed to vanish.

Until recently, I lived in coastal California. Now I'm retired to Florida. If the person you seek fits that description, and his friends know him as a soccer player who sang in a chorus, then maybe it's me. Or, maybe not! People looking for friends with my name often come here, because I'm listed first on search engines. There are unrelated persons with my name in both states, as well as elsewhere. Image searches do not usually produce my photo; but if you see something that looks like music, it might have been copied from my old site, long ago.

Folks usually see me dressed for playing soccer, or wearing a bicycle helmet and yellow windbreaker. Since I'm retired, I might be traveling anywhere.

Yes, I still play soccer, but not intensely these days. I make up the exercise difference with the bike. Lately, I've taken up ice skating. My main non-recreational interest is classical music (particularly opera), so if I happen to be in a big city that has it, you might see me in the audience.

And, I spend my spare time writing. I have some new material, but am in no hurry to get it out there. Unlike some others, I don't happen to believe that something is important just because I write it. So if you are wondering why I took the trouble to get a URL with my name, even though the site has little content right now, it's because I want to ensure that I have the domain when the time comes to show the new material. That is, if I ever get around to it. I'm having too much fun.

In fact, I'm having so much fun in real life that I don't spend much time on the Internet anymore. How much fun? Glad you asked! Just to let you know that I'm still alive, I update this web page from time to time, maybe once per month (see date shown below). If you contact me by E-mail, it might be a week or so before I get back to you.

If the update is more than a month old, then there are several possibilities: (a) I died since the last update. In this case, rest assured that phony banks, lawyers, or foreign governments are not in charge of dispensing my meager resources; (b) I am being held captive by fanatics somewhere. In this case, rest assured that I will endure a slight amount of torture, if you spend your money enjoying life rather than ransoming me; (c) I imagine that I am close to enlightenment, and am spending my time chanting om in a cave somewhere. In this case, rest assured that I will emerge in time for happy hour, once I realize my pitiful state of unenlightenment; (d) I am blissful in some tropical paradise that does not happen to have free Internet service. In this case, check back in a few months, or when I run out of bliss.

Thanks for stopping by!
